Himanshu
Gupta (Himi)

Yes, I am an introvert but I will become an extrovert when you will talk about tech, anime or food. My motto in life is to keep things basic and not to complicate them.

I believe in the Japanese principle of "Kaizen" which means continuous improvement.

My aim in life is to create such products or be a part of such products that have power to create a positive impact on this world.

🏫 School - a kid

Back in school, I used to draw. Summer assignments were more interesting for me than the holidays itself. Apart from studying, there wasn't much that I did in school.

Although, I scored 95% marks in class 12th but the highlight was the award of the 'Simplest Personality'. 😂 Even today also it's hard for me to digest it.

🎓 College - upgraded
       to Version 2.0

I did my graduation in commerce, but I was never interested in the world of books. Hence, I decided to explore more. Going on this path, I learned HTML and CSS in my first year because I was inspired by how websites were designed. At that time, I joined a college society where I was as a 'Graphic Designer'. I learned 'Photoshop' and 'Illustrator' through YouTube.

The next year I was promoted as a 'Joint Secretary' of the design department when I learned how to lead people. In the beginning it was hard for me but I solved the puzzle of how the leader works. Being entitled as a 'Multi skilled guy' because I used to do a lot of things. I also did some internships and freelancing as a graphic designer.

I was awarded as the 'Most Hard-working Personality' from a couple of clubs. While working in these clubs I added some members to my family.

🤔 Let's talk business -
       work habits

I like to explore and iterate during work and that the secret to my creativity. Just give me the freedom and see the magic flowing into my work. I don't believe that good designs are born between 9 and 5. So give me some freedom to think about the problem more deeply. After all, if I perform well, you will earn well, as we all know whose design is the face of any company. As a great saint had said:

A healthy work environment is more important than the work or money itself

When you have an encouraging work culture skills become secondary. People around you will help you to grow in that skill provided you have a good behaviour and growth mindset. This is what I experienced while working at various places during my college days.

🧩 Spirituality -
       yes, I am spiritual

No, I don't follow any gurus or their preachings, rather I believe in my own understanding of spirituality. Reading 'Bhagwat Geeta' back in college days was an eye-opener for me. It helped me to transform into a better human being. It taught me the principle of empathy very well and now I feel more connected with people.

💚 Personality type -
       advocate INFJ-T

I took this test on 16personalities.com. An Advocate (INFJ) is someone with the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality traits. They tend to approach life with deep thoughtfulness and imagination. Their inner vision, personal values, and a quiet, principled version of humanism guide them in all things. Know more about this.

🙏 Thanks for reading. I appreciate your time. Do let me know if that's something you are looking for. Do let me know if there is something specific you need, I might just be able to pull that off as well. If you are unsure, let's have an informal call sometime and see if I can help. Drop me an email.
